About Us
The Shekinah Girls' Empowerment and Protection Initiative as a a women-led organization was birthed out of a deep conviction to provide protection and empowerment opportunities for the Nigerian Girl Child. Activities of the organization commenced on the 26th day of September, 2019 and the legal registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) was achieved on the 30th November 2021. The organization's vision is to build and develop the complete girl through a right-based impactful programming for access to inalienable human rights and reactivation of the dignity of their human persons. Our Mission is to promote the dignity of women and girls and provide a platform for women’s voices for a more inclusive and equitable society. Our Commitment is to the progress, protection, and empowerment of the girl child.
